Somerset House Summer Series Returns: 25 Years of Innovation!

Alright, it's July 16th, and we're officially in the thick of the Somerset House Summer Series with American Express! Can you believe how fast this week has flown by? We're already past the halfway mark of this incredible festival, celebrating Somerset House's 25th birthday as a cultural hotspot.

It's been a brilliant few days in the courtyard, and for those of you who might have missed some of the magic or just want a quick recap, here's what's happened so far:

Thursday, July 10th: We kicked things off with a SOLD OUT Rizzle Kicks, who brought their infectious energy to the stage. Peter Xan was on support, setting the tone for the nights to come.
Friday, July 11th: The incredibly talented Freya Ridings took over, filling the courtyard with her voice. She was joined by the rising star Nell Mescal, making for a truly memorable evening.
Saturday, July 12th: We had a soulful night with Jacob Banks headlining. There was also a special support act that got the crowd ready.
Sunday, July 13th: Things got moving with Parov Stelar, who brought his unique electro-swing sound to Somerset House. The support act for this night was Kymara.
Monday, July 14th: This was a real highlight, with Akinola Davies Jr presenting his new film, rituals:unionblack. The live score performance was a first for the Summer Series, featuring an amazing lineup including Sampha, Moses Boyd, Balimaya Project's percussion section, Kwake Bass, Dennis Bovell, Charlie Dark, and Klein. It was a powerful and groundbreaking night.
Tuesday, July 15th: The brilliant Joy Oladokun graced the stage with her rich songwriting. The Halfway Kid was on support, adding to the evening's vibe.

And that brings us to today, Wednesday, July 16th! Tonight, we're all looking forward to seeing the incredible St. Vincent headline, with Gustaf opening the show.
