Jamal Edwards was 15 when he got a camcorder for Christmas. He lived in Acton. He started filming the MCs around him, the boys spitting bars over grime. He didn't do it because he thought they'd be famous. He did it because he knew they were cold right then, in that moment, and the world needed to see them.

In Conversation with Cam Keddy
Cam Keddy makes records that feel inevitable, like they had no choice but to exist. But there's nothing accidental about it. He and IAmSuspectz sit with a beat and ask the cold questions. Who is this for? Where does it live? Does it survive being quiet? Every decision gets tested. And then somehow the strategy disappears entirely. You just hear the song.

In Conversation with DJ Esco-bar
Nottingham has a habit of keeping its best things to itself. Ask anyone from the East Midlands who runs their dancefloors and the answer comes back before the question is finished: Esco-bar. The Juggling Barse. Mr Eastside. Three names for a selector who can carry a room from R&B into UKG into dancehall without anyone catching the joins.
