Sometimes I just press play. No intro, no commentary, just the music. I like seeing how people react when there’s no context. That’s what happened with JusHarry’s ‘Stealth’. I was mid-scroll, emails open, music playing in the background and then someone looked up and said, “What’s this called?” That kind of reaction always makes me pay attention.
JusHarry, the young man with a plan, Scottish accent and brilliant beat selection from producers like Segway and Internxtional. He's new to a lot of people, but for someone who's 'new' he's doing pretty well! Selling out three headline shows across Scotland reflecting a strong foundational fan base of 48K on TikTok and 25K on Youtube. The metrics are great but to me what stands out is how he has been building. The engagement he receives is a perfect case study of the community he's fostering and as we all know community counts for everything, it's the real currency of today.
‘Stealth’ feels like someone reflecting out loud but reflecting on everything independence, ambition, modern relationships - it’s all in there, but it doesn’t feel like a statement piece. It’s more like a page out of a diary you weren’t meant to hear, but now that you have, you want to know what comes next.
This feels like the beginning of something. A soft launch, but a solid one. Scotland’s always had voices worth listening to and JusHarry’s one I’ll be keeping an eye on.
'Stealth' drops July 18th so in the mean time...
