Discovering the Best Lounges: A Journey to Tiger Bay Shisha Lounge in Kingsbury

Updated: Sep 1

By now, you’ve probably clocked that I’m on a bit of a mission: finding the best lounges in and around London, one shisha spot at a time. And honestly? I’m loving it. I’ve always been someone who’d rather hit up a lounge than a club. Give me good food, chill vibes, and a flavourful shisha over a crowded dancefloor any day. So being able to share this side of me in writing? It’s been such a cool experience.

My Experience at Tiger Bay Shisha Lounge

Now let me tell you about this one - Tiger Bay Shisha Lounge in Kingsbury.

This visit was actually kind of full circle. I went with a friend I randomly met at the airport in Rome a while back (yes, the most chaotic but perfect friendship origin story ever). Since then, every time I’m in London, I hit her up and we go hunting for new lounges. This time, she said, “We’ve got to try Tiger Bay in Kingsbury,” and I was down.

The Vibe and Atmosphere

What I loved immediately about this spot is how big it is. You’ve got the choice of indoor and outdoor seating, which is honestly underrated. Whether you’re trying to dodge the weather or just want a vibe shift mid-evening, this place has you covered. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Think darker tones, moodier lighting, and a bit more edge than some of the more airy, floral lounges I’ve visited recently. But don’t get it twisted—it’s still cute. Just in a more low-key, late-night kind of way.

Food That Hits the Spot

The food? So good. They do a mix of Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes, and the flavours slap. It’s proper comfort food, plated well and clearly made with love. Plus, the dessert menu is a whole situation on its own—definitely leave room for something sweet.

Shisha Selection and Service

The shisha selection is strong too, with all the classic flavours plus some unique mixes. Service was calm, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the vibe in general was just really welcoming. You can tell this place was built with intention. The owners clearly care about the experience, and that energy trickles down from the way the lounge is run to how the staff look after you.

Late-Night Hangout Spot

Another bonus? They’re open late. Perfect for post-dinner catchups or nights when you’re not ready to call it just yet. They’ve also got screens for live sports, so if you want to watch the game while smoking shisha, they’ve got you covered.

Why Tiger Bay Stands Out

All in all, Tiger Bay is one of those reliable go-tos—spacious, chilled, and versatile. Whether you’re with your day one or a new airport bestie, it just works.

And with every new lounge I visit, I’m realising how much this series means to me. I’ve always been that girl searching for the next hidden gem. Now I get to share it all, and hopefully help you find your next favourite too.

Conclusion: Join Me on This Journey

So, what do you think? Are you ready to explore the vibrant world of lounges with me? I can’t wait to discover more spots and share my experiences. Keep an eye out for my next adventure. More to come…
