London’s All Points East has officially raised the bar for 2025. The festival’s opening show, titled Provenance, brings together three of the most influential and elusive forces in modern music: Cleo Sol, Chronixx and SAULT, for a one-night-only event that promises to be a defining moment of the summer. Taking place in Victoria Park on Friday 15 August, this is more than a festival date. It’s a musical landmark.
Headlining Provenance is Cleo Sol, the London-born singer whose voice has quietly become one of the most treasured in British music. Known for her soulful, introspective songwriting, she’s built a loyal following with albums like Heaven and Gold, both released in 2023 to widespread critical acclaim. This All Points East appearance marks her biggest headline performance to date, and the significance isn’t lost on fans who’ve followed her rise from understated soul stress to one of the UK’s most celebrated artists.
She’s joined by Chronixx, the Jamaican artist hailed as the torchbearer for contemporary roots reggae. After an eight-year hiatus, he returns with Exile, his highly anticipated new album produced by Inflo, the creative mind behind SAULT and much of Cleo Sol's work. With a genre-defying sound that spans reggae, dancehall and soul, Chronixx’s return to the UK stage is a major moment in itself.
And then there’s SAULT. The mysterious, genre-blurring collective rarely appears live. In fact, this will be only their second live performance ever. Their 2023 debut at London’s Drumsheds sent shockwaves through the music world, praised as “utterly astonishing” by The Guardian in a five-star review. Known for their radical approach to music-making with anonymous releases, limited drops and no interviews, SAULT operates entirely outside industry norms. Their appearance at All Points East, and the opportunity to experience their latest album 10 in a live setting, is a cultural event in every sense.

Together, Cleo Sol, Chronixx and SAULT represent a new model of artistry that prioritises truth, intention and sonic freedom. Provenance isn’t just a show. It’s a moment.
A Festival Rooted in Legacy and Community
The Provenance event opens All Points East’s 2025 edition, which includes other headliners like Chase & Status (Saturday 16 August), Barry Can’t Swim (Friday 22 August), RAYE (Saturday 23 August) and the return of The Maccabees (Sunday 24 August). More names are still to be announced.
Since its debut in 2018, All Points East has grown into a major fixture in the UK’s live music calendar, praised for its lineups and community-led programming. Hosted in East London’s Victoria Park, the festival also runs In The Neighbourhood, a midweek series of free events including drag shows, yoga, creative workshops, open-air films and more.
All Points East is also recognised for its commitment to sustainability and accessibility, using 100% renewable energy and partnering with organisations like the Tower Project to support young people with learning disabilities and autism. Local schools and businesses are involved too, with performance opportunities, food stalls, merch booths and more built into the festival’s fabric.
