AURA FESTIVAL BULGARIA RELOCATES TO SOFIA AIRPORT PARK FOR EXPANDED 2026 EDITION

Crowd at a concert under a pink sky. Large stage with "MAIN STAGE" text, lights, and a plane above. Energetic atmosphere.

AURA Festival Bulgaria returns in 2026 with another immersive conceptual escape across a three-day programme from 19–21 June, now taking place at Sofia Airport Park with expanded capacity and extended operating hours until dawn. This year marks a significant shift from previous editions, relocating to a new site that allows for overnight programming and removing the 23:00 curfew that previously limited the festival. Events will run from 18:00 until 06:00 with even more out-of-this-world production, spectacular lights and world-class sound systems. The 2026 edition is presented under the theme "Temple of EOS", which forms part of AURA's ongoing conceptual narrative, centring on light, reflection and transformation with each night designed as a distinct chapter within a continuous experience.

The lineup spans a wide spectrum of electronic music, from melodic and progressive sounds to high-intensity techno. Armin van Buuren brings his globally recognised trance-led approach, while Dimitri Vegas and ALOK represent festival-scale electronic and melodic house influences. Deeper and more atmospheric tones come from Mahmut Orhan, while the harder end is covered by Italian techno duo 999999999 and ground-breaking Japanese DJ ¥ØUUK€¥UK1MATUK€ ¥UK1MAT UK€¥UK1MATU, known for high-tempo, multi-genre and rave-influenced sets with energy unlike any other. Located next to Sofia Airport Metro Station with fast, direct access from central Sofia and easy connections across the city, travel to and from the festival is quick and convenient.
